SST sight glass assemblies are suitable for monitoring the flow of liquid and gaseous process media in piping systems. The robust, tried-and-true design is maintenance-free and enables reliable flow monitoring.
Available in flanged or weld-on versions, for horizontal or vertical installation, and in nominal diameters from DN15 to DN150. The sight glass panels are made of borosilicate glass in accordance with DIN 7080.
The SST-FD version features a housing and cover made of 1.4408 (CF-8M). In the SST-BW version, the housing is made of 1.4404 (CF-3M) and the cover of 1.4408 (CF-8M).
The large sight glass opening allows for optimal monitoring. A standard drip edge indicates even the smallest flow rates. Optional features include metal-fused glass, quartz glass, an FEP glass protection film, and an optical flow indicator for gases.
The SST sight glass fittings comply with the European Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (PED).
