The SSO-TA enables continuous sampling of hot liquids from pressurized pipelines and cools the sample directly during extraction. This allows the sample to be collected safely and representatively without interrupting the process. The heat exchanger is designed for applications without a vacuum.
The SSO-TA heat exchanger is mounted on SIV sampling valves and is designed for sampling hot liquids under pressure. Cooling takes place directly within the heat exchanger, allowing the sample to be drawn continuously while simultaneously being cooled to a lower temperature.
The modular design is made of SS316L stainless steel with FFPM seals. An integrated coil with a 2 mm inner diameter and 10 turns ensures effective heat transfer. The cooling medium is supplied via the “cold” side through ½"-NPT threaded connections.
For easy integration into existing Swissfluid systems, the SSO-TA features the Swissfluid standard adapter with a 2½" clamp. The integrated flushing unit with a ¼' NPT check valve facilitates easy cleaning and flushing.
The robust and maintenance-free design ensures easy handling and reliable operation. The SSO-TA is therefore particularly well-suited for applications where hot liquids must be sampled safely and representatively during the ongoing process.
