Research
08. June 2026The safe handling of sulfuric acid requires more than just a standardized sampling valve—it requires a carefully engineered system tailored to the process medium, operating conditions, and long-term chemical resistance.
For this customer project, Swissfluid developed and manufactured a complete inline sampling solution consisting of a sampling valve, a custom-built polypropylene safety cabinet, and an integrated flushing system.
The solution was designed for sulfuric acid applications with concentrations ranging from 10% to 78% and combines safe operation, corrosion-resistant materials, and reliable cleaning functions.
Technical Highlights:
• Polypropylene safety cabinet with a transparent PVC viewing window
• PFA flushing system for chemical compatibility
• Hastelloy fasteners for critical attachment points
• Vent and drain connections for controlled operation
• Maximum operating pressure of the valve: 16 bar
• Maximum flushing pressure: 4.1 bar at 65 °C
• Operating temperature: 20–60 °C
This project reflects our approach to application-specific development: not only providing components, but also delivering a complete solution tailored to the process.
