DN 15 – DN 150 | NPS ½ˮ – 6ˮ
Type SSP lined sight glass fittings enable the safe monitoring of the flow of liquid and gaseous process media in piping systems. The robust construction and generously sized sight glass opening ensure reliable visual inspection and optimal process monitoring.
Type SSP sight glass assemblies are designed for pipe sizes ranging from DN 15 to DN 150 or NPS ½' to 6' and are suitable for a variety of industrial process systems. The modular design allows for adaptation to various plant requirements and is available in both DIN and ANSI versions.
Borosilicate glass sight glass plates conforming to DIN 7080 are used as standard. For special requirements, metal-fused glass or quartz glass are available as alternatives. An optional FEP glass protection film provides additional protection for the sight glass pane.
The housings are available in cast steel 1.0619 (WCB) with RAL 5005 signal blue or in cast stainless steel 1.4408 (CF8M). For corrosive process media, PFA and conductive PFA-AS linings are available.
Depending on the application, the SSP can also be equipped with a visual flow indicator for gases, a PTFE tape, or a grounding cable. The temperature range extends from −40 °C to +200 °C, depending on the lining material.
